Questions

Frequently asked questions about senior & special-needs pet care

Can you care for a medically complex pet?

Some medically complex pets can be accepted after a detailed review of the established routine, handling, risks and provider experience. Acceptance is never guaranteed.

Can you give medication?

Some established owner-supplied oral or topical routines may be accepted with written instructions. Bramblebrook does not provide injections, wound care, diagnosis or treatment.

Is overnight care available for a senior pet?

It may be, after consultation. Overnight care occurs in the client’s home and follows an agreed plan; it is not continuous medical or emergency monitoring.

What happens if my pet appears unwell?

The caregiver follows the agreed contact plan and reports concerns promptly. Urgent veterinary decisions remain with the owner, authorized contact and veterinarian.
