Safety

Properly Prepared. Entirely Dog-Minded.

Love of dogs brought us here. Preparation, documentation and careful judgment guide every booking.

01

Required meet and greet

Before any first independent service, we meet your dog in your home with you present. Proper introductions, always.

02

Complete dog profile

Breed, age, weight, equipment, routines and particulars. A profile that is missing key information cannot be approved for service.

03

Veterinary information

Your veterinarian, clinic and phone number, plus the emergency animal hospital you would want us to use.

04

Emergency contact

A second person we can reach, and clear authority about who may make decisions if you cannot be reached.

05

Vaccination documentation when relevant

Rabies, and Bordetella or canine influenza status where a service or venue calls for it.

06

Medication instructions in writing

Name, dose, timing, route, food requirements and what to do if a dose is refused. We follow instructions; we never adjust them.

07

Allergy and feeding information

Approved food and treats only. If your dog may have nothing, your dog has nothing.

08

Temperament disclosure

How your dog is with adults, children and other dogs, and where the edges are.

09

Bite and escape history

Honesty here helps us choose the safest and happiest service for everyone, including your dog.

10

Equipment check

Harness and collar fit, lead condition, tag and microchip details verified at the meet and greet.

11

Weather decisions

Heat, ice, lightning and air quality change what is safe. We adjust or hold rather than push through.

12

Trail suitability assessment

Distance, gradient, footing and water availability judged against your individual dog, not an average one.

13

Transportation permission

Written permission on file before we ever put your dog in a vehicle.

14

Emergency-treatment authorization

Your instructions and spending limit recorded in advance, so nobody is guessing in a waiting room.

15

Individual assessment before group walks

No dog joins a small-group outing without being assessed on its own first.

16

Private-service alternative

Always available, never a lesser option. Some dogs are simply better served one at a time.

17

Incident documentation

Anything unusual is written down, reported to you promptly and kept on your dog's record.

Not every dog wants a social calendar.

Private services are always available, and compatibility is never assumed.

Bramblebrook provides mobile services and individually arranged overnight pet care in the client’s home. We do not provide boarding, daycare, veterinary services, emergency response or care in a Bramblebrook provider’s home.
