Juniper Jaunts provide thoughtful, unhurried support for older adults who want to continue enjoying time outside with their dogs. We can walk alongside you, help with handling or take your dog for a private walk while you rest.

We walk alongside you, help with the practical parts and respect the relationship you already have with your dog. An outing might be a neighborhood loop, a park visit or simply fresh air and a change of scene.

Juniper Jaunts are for older adults who want to keep enjoying time outside with their dog, or who would value a trusted person taking over part of the walk. Holladay is the primary service area, with selected Millcreek and Cottonwood Heights requests reviewed by route. Scope and price are quoted after the introduction.

A Juniper Jaunt is a companion dog-walking and pet-handling service. The caregiver may walk alongside person and dog, help with handling or take the dog independently while the owner rests.
Who are Juniper Jaunts designed for?
Older adults who want to keep enjoying a dog-walking routine with practical, unhurried support.
Can Bramblebrook walk alongside both the owner and dog?
Yes. The outing can be shared, with route, pace and rest stops agreed in advance.
Can Bramblebrook walk the dog while the owner rests?
Yes. A private dog walk can be part of the plan when the owner prefers to stay home.
Can the pace and route be adjusted?
Yes. Distance, grade, surface, shade and rest stops are adapted to the day’s conditions and both participants.
Are mobility devices welcome?
Yes. Canes, walkers and other mobility devices are welcome when the route and outing remain safe and within the pet-care scope.
What happens during hot, cold or icy weather?
The time, route or duration may change, or the outing may be postponed when conditions are unsafe.
Is an introductory meeting required?
Yes. Bramblebrook meets the owner and dog to understand handling, equipment, accessibility, preferences and boundaries.
How are recurring walks scheduled?
After the introduction, a recurring time is considered against route and provider availability. Nothing is confirmed or charged through the initial inquiry.
Which areas are regularly served?
Holladay, Millcreek and Cottonwood Heights are regular service areas. Other requests are considered individually.
Is Juniper Jaunts a home-health service?
No. Bramblebrook does not provide nursing, medical monitoring of a person, personal hygiene assistance, medication management for a person, transportation of a person or unsupervised elder care.
A suitable outing may include
Practical support, quietly given
- Helping with the lead, harness or coat
- Choosing smooth, shaded or shorter routes
- Pauses for benches, water and conversation
- Transport to a suitable nearby walking place when agreed
- A solo dog walk when the owner prefers to rest
- A note to an authorized family contact after the outing
Bramblebrook provides pet care and companionship during outings. We do not provide medical, mobility, personal-care or home-health services.
